A celebration in a historic setting
Igates pils is one of Vidzeme’s historic gems. The name Igate was first mentioned in written records in 1455, while the current neo-Renaissance castle building was constructed around 1880.
The castle is surrounded by a picturesque park and Dzirnavezers, which even in November offers beautiful scenery and a peaceful atmosphere.
A festive brunch at Pils Dzirnavu krodziņš is a wonderful opportunity to spend Latvia’s birthday with family, friends, or loved ones, enjoying a delicious meal without the rush of everyday life or the hassle of setting the holiday table.
Before or after brunch, we invite you to take a walk through the castle park and capture beautiful holiday moments.
Brunch times and prices
To make it easy for everyone to choose the most convenient time, we will welcome guests:
- 11.00–14.00 — for those who want to start the holiday with a shared meal.
- 15.00–18.00 — for a relaxed holiday afternoon.
Participation fee:
- Adults — 35 €.
- Children from 6 to 12 years old — 15 €.
- Children up to 5 years old — free of charge.
Igates pils is located in Vidrižu pagasts, Limbažu novads, about an hour’s drive from Rīga.
